Chanchal police station in Malda has successfully apprehended a suspect linked to a daring robbery at a gold shop that occurred on December 25th. The audacious heist prompted swift action by the Chanchal Police, resulting in the arrest of Shahjahan Ali Bari from the Neemgachi area near the Bangla Bihar border within a mere 7 days of the incident. Following the arrest, Shahjahan was presented before the Chanchal Sub Divisional Court, where he was granted 14 days of police remand.
